Within this context, documents that serve as the primary reference sources for business responsibility to respect human rights and that provide a global reference point for the standards states and businesses are expected to observe in the business and human rights field have been translated into Turkish.  It is, thereby, aimed to raise awareness among stakeholders such as businesses, non-governmental organizations, rights holders, and public institutions regarding the business and human rights field. These documents, together, outline steps for states to foster business respect for human rights, provide a blueprint for companies to manage the risk of having an adverse impact on human rights, and offer a set of benchmarks for stakeholders to assess business respect for human rights.
